International Students

International Students, welcome to ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½!

An international applicant is any applicant who is not a U.S. citizen or a permanent U.S. resident. If you are a U.S. citizen who currently lives outside the U.S., or if you are not a U.S. citizen but rather a permanent legal U.S. resident, you do not qualify as an international student.


Important Details

It is critical to assess the cost of attending ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ before beginning the application process:

  • Financial assistance in the form of academic scholarships is available to all admitted students.
  • You must demonstrate educational funds you have available or funds from sponsor(s).
  • Applicants must have at least a high school degree or the equivalent.
  • As a Christian college, ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ requires that all applicants abide by our community lifestyle agreement during their time studying on-campus.
  • You must be a full-time student during the academic year at ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½.

How to Apply

Complete the free online.

All applicants must submit high school transcripts (or university transcripts for transfer applicants) in English. The official transcripts must come directly from your high school or university. The Admissions Office may require a professional transcript evaluation from a third party.

Transcripts can be submitted electronically to admissions@grace.edu or by mail to: ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ Admissions, 1 Lancer Way, Winona Lake, IN 46590, USA.

All applicants must submit an official copy of either SAT, ACT, TOEFL, IELTS Academic, or Duolingo English Test scores.

An official copy of your scores may be obtained from your school or by request from Ìý´Ç°ùÌý. The ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ code numbers are 1198 for the ACT and 1252 for the SAT.

The recommended test scores are as follows:

  • SAT – 1030 composite score
  • ACT – 20 composite score
  • TOEFL – 4.5 total score (70 total score for tests taken before 2026)
  • IELTS Academic – 6.5 overall score
  • Duolingo – 105 overall score

Application Evaluation

Once you have submitted your application for admission and we have received your official transcripts and ACT, SAT, TOEFL, or Duolingo English Test scores, your application for admission to ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ will be complete and will be evaluated by the Admissions Committee. ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ reserves the right to request additional information if needed in order to complete the evaluation. The Admissions Committee will provide notification regarding the status of your application. If you have any questions, contact the ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ Admissions Office at (866) 974-7223.


Wait List

Applicants receive one of three decision letters: admit, deny or defer (for additional information).


Once Accepted

Provide a copy of your passport (and your dependents’ passports, if applicable).

To obtain the I-20 form (which is used to apply for your student visa), you must complete the full application process, be accepted to the college and fill out the Declaration of Financial Support or provide bank statements demonstrating financial resources to enroll. International students are considered for academic scholarships, but are expected to contribute a portion of annual college expenses. Upon confirmation of financial viability, ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ will provide you with an I-20 form to assist with obtaining your student visa.


Enrollment Deposit

Once all other steps have been completed, a place in the class can be secured by submitting a $200 enrollment deposit by the May 1 reply date. (Housing assignments are prioritized by date received.)
