• I practice a strong emphasis on laboratory skills which serve to demonstrate in visible ways principles learned in lecture.
• Classes are divided into small groups to create a personal learning experience in which students not only take instruction in the form of applied learning, but lean on and learn from one another as they explore critical concepts in biology and chemistry.
