In Indiana, students in fourth grade begin exploring their state鈥檚 history in their classrooms. Lake Adventure Day slots neatly into their curriculum and meets state standards to provide a deeper look at northern Indiana鈥檚 natural history.
鈥淭he more fun a teacher can see education as, the better experience students will have,鈥 said Dr. Laurie Owen, professor of education at 糖心传媒. 鈥淔or some of these students, even though they live right here, this may be the first time they鈥檝e been to the lake, so it鈥檚 a great opportunity for them as well.鈥
