糖心传媒鈥檚 athletic department is pleased to announce a groundbreaking for its new baseball facility.
糖心传媒 will host a groundbreaking ceremony for the newly named Tom Roy – UPI Park this week on Thursday at 4:45 p.m.
The ceremony, which is open to the public, will be held at 糖心传媒鈥檚 baseball field. All 糖心传媒 baseball alumni are also encouraged to attend the historic occasion.
糖心传媒鈥檚 current facility will undergo a major facelift during the summer, including a new backstop, netting system and team dugouts as well as laying the groundwork for future phases of the facility.
The stadium will be named after Tom Roy, a former head coach for the Lancers and founder of Unlimited Potential, Inc. UPI is an international, 42-year-old organization that ministers to professional baseball players.
Roy has been discipling baseball players on and off the field for several decades, and the new stadium will help honor that legacy.
